The attention is all on you and your dog, so they are great value, and offer more flexibility than a course. These lessons are ideal for working on a number of behaviours including reactivity, puppy management and training, basic obedience such as loose leash walking, recalling and manners training. Private Lessons are done in-home or we do offer limited spaces for lessons at our Glenorchy facility, if you live outside of our serviceable area. Zoom or Skype lessons can also be arranged by request.

A consultation includes history taking, assessment, discussion about the treatment options, a written behaviour management & modification plan, and appropriate resources (e.g video, training plan) to help you to understand and change your dog’s behaviour. Follow up by phone or email is also provided at no extra cost via two scheduled phone or email contacts.
Follow up visits, clinics, or classes are often necessary for best results and a range of options are available.

Private Lessons are at our dog training facility in Knoll Street Glenorchy or can also be taken as a Skype, Facetime or Zoom consult from the comfort of your home if you would prefer. Please note that these sessions are simply dog and trainer. For help with what to do in your own interactions with your dog we recommend pairing these sessions with one of our group classes or private lessons, so that your dog learns how to do these behaviours with everyone they interact with.
